Polio Plus
 The wheelchair is more than just an orthopaedic aidOn 7 July this year, the inter-party parliamentary lobby-group that represents the rights of people with special needs, initiated by the association Polio Plus, took part at the seminar called "What is a handicap?" at the Special Hospital for orthopaedics and traumatology "Saint Erasmus" in Ohrid.

"Pages for common understanding"
Interethnic relations through the journal pagesOn 14 August 2003, the first page called "Megjutoa" (However/But) was published. "Megjutoa" is part of the programme called "Pages for common understanding", implemented by the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation (MCIC) together with the Macedonian Journalists' Association (MCA) and in cooperation with the Macedonian Informative Agency (MIA), Dnevnik, Utrinski Vesnik, Fakti, Lobi and Vecer. "The pages for common understanding" tend to improve the public informing on interethnic relations in Macedonia and influence the media to inform objectively.

Ilinden celebrated with young people's messages for toleranceTwo civic associations were honoured to take part in the official programme for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Ilinden uprising on 21 July and 1 August this year in Krusevo.
The Youth Association from Krusevo and the Youth Cultural Centre from Bitola, supported by the Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Culture, have carried out a very interesting cultural and artistic programme that attracted the public's attention with its originality and the quality of performances.
