Victims of the century - when will it stop?
"This planet gave us sand, sun, water, heavenly perfume and flowers on the earth and we destroyed everything because we are made of stone, people made of stone. We can smell the lie even with a blocked nose- a lie is a lie and which and where is the truth? Besides the other, our people were left with another gift - the waiting. So, when will we put an end to being silent witnesses of the slow dying, aware of all that, and yet so powerless to do anything. We have not been so cruel, the bad and unhealthy environment turned us into creatures unable even to think. We were so burnt by this "famous Smeltery" that we even became cruel to ourselves. Fortunately, the dream is more than happiness. If someone asked us how we felt today, we would certainly say - "much worse than yesterday". The fact that in the children's hair there is seven times more lead than it is allowed and three times more in the placenta of pregnant women, is also alerting. Moreover, we, however, do not do anything, although we are familiar with our human rights stated in the Universal Human Rights Declaration and the International Children Rights Convention, signed by Macedonia 11 years ago.
