Climate rehabilitation dedicated to the global warming
The parents association for healthy offspring from Veles dedicated this year’s Summer Climate Rehabilitation to the national and the world activities against the global warming of the planet Earth, putting special emphasis on the water as the most precious natural resource. The event has been organized for six years in a row and its realization was under the patronage of and with financial support from the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of RM.
The children from Veles stayed on Pelister where they realized a number of eco-activities dedicated to elixir of life for the present and the future generations – the clean and healthy drinking water which the place they were accommodated at is rich with. Part of the summer agenda were the numerous art workshops, the specially designed comic called “Green Mission”, literary journals, eco-newsletter, etc, which were all created by the children attending the summer rehabilitation. The summer climate journey was closed with art and literature exhibitions, the promotion of the eco-newsletter and the photographs of all activities children were engaged at, which took place on 6 September at the NGO Support Centre in Veles. The summer journal was personally handed over to the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Dzelil Bajrami.
At the parents’ association for healthy offspring they hope that the climate rehabilitation will continue in the future as a permanent effort of the state to provide healthy living for their young population.
