Representative of the European Council visits Turkey
In June, Turkey was visited by European Council representative, the Human Rights Commissary, Alvaro Giles Robles. The official two-day visit included several meetings with government, parliament and court representatives.
The goal, of course, was human rights and their realization in Turkey. During the stay, the Commissary evaluated the recent reforms in Turkey regarding the human rights. He also met with the local government and NGO representatives outside the Turkey capital.
