Information for the unemployed women

 

The Center for education and better approach to information and communication sources for unemployed women started working recently on the Initiative of Kriva Palanka Women Organization. Its goal is to improve their knowledge and possibilities for employment.

Through trainings of about 200 citizens from Kriva Palanka, the Center will meet the needs of unemployed women and women from socially threatened families form Kriva Palanka. This Center enables Kriva Palanka women to communicate through the Internet with the local and regional institutions regarding their employment and promoting their skills by using the modern technologies. The women interested are offered to set up a small business through internet-contacts with potential costumers and investors, as well as to include themselves in the public and political life as a necessary part of the modern democracy.

Besides the trainings, there will be workshops where women will have an opportunity to inform themselves on the trade with women, the prostitution, the family violence, the entrepreneurship, the small businesses and the gender discrimination.

The project is financed by "Schools Online" and "Global Catalyst Foundation".
