Merkator

Network of several language schools 

The European Centre for Ethnic Minorities and Nations - CIEMEN, supported by the European Commission, was founded at the web-portal "Merkator". Merkator's goal is to promote the right for equality of the minority groups and nations' languages. Within this initiative, a network of bilingual or three lingual elementary schools throughout Europe was established. This network will exchange information between the schools and the people involved in the process of education or those who are interested in education in the languages of the minorities. The "Merkator" imitative began establishing a virtual library in the languages of the minorities.
