“We Learn About EU” campaign
A tribune at Georgi Dimitrov High School
The Secretariat for European Issues and the Ministry of Education continued the realization of the campaign “We Learn About the EU” with the tribune that took place at Georgi Dimitrov High School in Skopje at the beginning of the second term of the school year 2007/2008. The Minister of Transport, Mile Janakieski and the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Macedonia, Miho Mihov, spoke at the tribune in front of the students.
After 14 February, lectures on the European Union lectures were held at Koco Racin Primary School in Centar and at Grigor Prlicev Primary School in Zelezara by civil officers from the Secretariat for European Issues and from the Ministry of Education and Science. This campaign has been going on for two years now and its goal is to raise the level of information students have on the EU, as well as to raise their awareness on the importance of the European integration processes and the reforms that are carried out in the Republic of Macedonia so that it soon becomes part of the big European family.
