Career Days in Skopje
A growing interest for presentation of students and companies
The student organization AISEC organized the annual manifestation “Career Days” which took place from 6 to 8 April at the Skopje Fair. About twenty companies presented their work to the interested students, offering about 200 jobs for the students and the unemployed, who were given the opportunity to present their skills in from of the interested parties.
Seven postgraduate programmes from the country, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece were presented for the first time. “The manifestation was open not only for the unemployed who could get informed about the free posts, but also for others interested in specializing” – said the AISEC president, Antonio Jovanovski. However, the organization did not offer any concrete data on how many students were employed through the “Career Days”.
This year, more than 600 students, both graduate and postgraduate, applied for the manifestation, 200 of which were selected to participate, mainly from the Faculties of Law, Economy, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. Every year, the number of companies wanting to resent themselves and choose the best candidates for the free posts increases.
