The Macedonian Women Lobby will play the coordinative role in the national and regional projects within the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe. This women lobby will be responsible for the promotion of gender equality, for greater participation of women in politics, etc. For the time being, there is only one person employed, but also volunteers from all spheres of life in Macedonia, that is, from the governmental and non-governmental sector, professors, functionaries, individuals… The attitudes for work of the women lobby will be coordinated and agreed upon by the Working body, consisted of the above-mentioned people.
Such an office exists only in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia, which tends to grow into a regional center in future.
The offices were provided by the previously mentioned ministries and the Greek government donated 100.000 for their current operation and technical equipment. The Greek Rondos Aleksis, the President of the Working table for democracy and human rights within the Stability Pact gave these means in person.
