Regional Fair "GO-EXPO 2004"

The Enterprise Support Agency - ESA from Gostivar organizes The Fifth Regional Fair GO-EXPO 2004 and The Third Economy Conference in the period between 7 and 10 October 204. The Fair and The Economy Conference took place at the "Dino Centre" in Gostivar and were opened by the Swiss Ambassador in RM, Thomas Fuglister and the Mayor of Gostivar, Dzemail Redzepi.

The Regional Fair GO-EXPO 2004 which lasted for four days, was divided into two parts: an exhibition part and Economy Conference, which took place the first day and was also divided into two parts. In the first part, certain economic issues were discussed, such as: "The present economic environment of the small businesses", "The institutional gap in the local economic development", "Access to the EU markets. The second part was dedicated mostly to the presentation of the programme activities of several organizations and foundations: The Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF), The Entrepreneurship Support Agency (ESA), GTZ-PSP (Private Sector Support), SIPPO-Switzerland - Export Support Programme, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Fund, Euro - Info Correspondence Centre. The exhibition part was dedicated to the presentation of enterprises and companies from the region, that is from Gostivar, Tetovo and Skopje, but there were also enterprises from the other towns in Macedonia like Vinica, Debar, Prilep, Struga, Veles, Radovis. There were about 60 exhibitors at the Fair, including several foundations and non-governmental organizations.
