The project "Detsko selo - Mariovo" presented
The art reanimates the life in the abandoned region"Detsko selo - Mariovo" is the title of the project that was promoted in Bitola by the humanitarian organization "Samarjanin", Civic Paths and municipality Staravina in the beginning of October. At the same time, an auction of paintings by the Italian artist's Laura Simone took place. Money from the auction will be donated for the construction of the children village that should become a new, warm home for 40 orphans. The village will be located near Gradeska Reka, known also as Stone River, next to the St. Dimitrija church, which dates from the 15th century.

FOSIM
Cultural DecontaminationOn 3 October in Skopje, the Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia (FOSIM) organized the first Expert Forum Within their Programme for Cultural Decontamination. The Forum was opened by the Macedonian Prime Minister, Mr. Branko Crvenkovski, and the introduction was given by the Foundation's director, Mr. Vladimir Milcin.

Volunteer team "Neo"
Auction for collecting humanitarian helpThe volunteer team "Neo", which is the name of a group of enthusiasts working within the association "Vigor" from Shtip, organized a very interesting event on 16 October this year at the City of Skopje Museum - a selling exhibition of donated works of art. The money from these activities is aimed for humanitarian purposes, that is for opening a club for handicapped people in Shtip.
