Union of healed alcoholics’ clubs Skopje
On 12 December 2005, the Union of the healed alcoholics’ clubs from Skopje marked the 35th anniversary from establishing the first club of healed alcoholics.
Through its clubs, the union works on providing help for the city of Skopje to reduce the number of alcohol addicts, it also provides psychosocial protection and support to families that have problems with alcohol abuse and does preventive work with the young people in the primary and secondary schools.
Some of its most significant future plans are: opening socio-therapeutic clubs for families affected by alcohol abuse in all municipalities in the city and opening counselling centres with open info-lines.
