Religious truth and dialogue
Since long ago we have known that the ancient metaphysical concept of truth is the one that does not stand the burden of reality, or it stands it contrasting itself. But what is actually truth, in an existential sense, if the power of lie, forcing to lie, is deeply inside it? Is this the truth that legitimately belongs to the internal experience of thought?
Really, the known forms of “search for truth” have their truth, it is about the forms of “search for truth” in philosophy, metaphysics and religion. The search for truth was in fact the only way from it – from the truth. For us truth is open, but this ends when “truth” starts to exist: in a form of metaphysical optimism, or imaginations from the other side of our salvation.
We are not haunted by the search for truth, but enchanted by the “truth” itself. Have we finally lost the capability to search and realize truth? Truth is deeper and more comprehensive than we can imagine, because it appears even to the one who is not looking for it. But, paradoxically, the one who is not looking for the truth, has to stand it. This banal wisdom of philosophy expressed itself in the philosophies of existentialism. Therefore the question of truth about truth should go back to its own authentic weight; it should be searched in the labyrinth where we do not look for the certain realizations but the exit. It should be sought but not “created”, because only God has a right to do it.
It is undeniable truth that celestial religions or we, as followers of the Holy Books should be careful towards the holy text and its originality, avoiding human intervention in them, and in case of some "great need” for a certain change, as disregard towards deviations that “democracy” imposes nowadays or secularism as dominant processes within various political changes.
It is not possible for us to accept faith from faithlessness, God from blasphemers, who convince us that there is a possibility for occurrence of various religious fractions, religious and ideological interpretations, up to those anti-religious – demon? Nowadays it is an undeniable phenomenon, and it has even reached the phase when it cannot be followed any more, because almost every day there is a new group with high religious competencies.
We, as followers of the celestial religions are called to create conditions for a religious dialogue in order to help peace not only in our regions, but also wider, something we need the most and our country is to do something more in this direction, because it must not stay aside from the inter-religious dialogue and religious culture. The role of the celestial religions throughout history is followed by the credo that no one must keep the truth for himself, but it has to be announced to the humankind.
This role has been taken by those who call upon religion, a role that unfortunately, nowadays, is performed by the missioners, in spite of the fact that missionary nowadays is a phenomenon that almost completely subjugates to the interests of certain ethnic groups, with very dangerous destruction that does not bring any benefit to humankind, on the contrary.
It is a fact that we here, as Muslims and Christians, have not had many dialogues, but it does not mean that we have not talked and lived together. Common living or ones beside others and not having dialogues is nothing else but a cultural crisis, it is something natural. After all, it is in the human nature to live as he started his life – in silence, and as he ends it – in silence, and the time between, or life, is best regulated and cultured by the Holy Books and their representatives.
As mentioned above, truth exists in everything, it is the only one that can keep balance without damaging the human soul and his physical part in an incredible and cheerful harmony, and the role of religion is indisputable towards that aim. There can be no peace, nor a dialogue without truth, and also, there can be no truth without obedience to God.
