Award for the MCIC
Challenge for building the civil society
On 18 May 1998 At the Great Britain Ambassador's Residence, in a very solemn manner, MCIC was awarded the Civil Society and Democracy award by the USA and the European Union, and MCIC was the only winner from Macedonia.
MCIC promised to use the money of this award (20 000 American dollars) for establishing an awards fund for contribution in the field of democracy and civil society in Macedonia (which they realized establishing awards for sustainable development and civil society.)
