KOMAJA GREEN ACTION

Some Like it Clean

The Komaja Association has been conducting an activity for cleaning the city for a month now. The Komaja prepared a leaflet which best illustrates the aims and the philosophy behind this activity:
“The planetary ecology can be realized through the personal-physical, emotional, mental and spiritual ecology”.

Under the motto “Some like it clean”, Komaja – the Association for Developing the Art of Living, offers the city of Skopje its Green Action for cleaning the city and invites all citizens, governmental and non-governmental organizations who would like to contribute to the beauty and cleanliness of Skopje, to join this eco-event, feeling at the same time cleaner and more beautiful in their hearts.

The action will take place every second and every fourth Saturday in the next three months. First to be cleaned will be the parks and the dirtiest crossroads.

The Green Action is morally and financially supported by: the Mayor of Skopje, Mr. Risto Penov, the Centar municipality Mayor, Violeta Alarova, Komunalna Higiena, Parkovi I Zelenilo from Skopje, JSP Skopje, “Sloboda Prevoz”, University Student Council, the Swiss-German Komaja Foundation for physical and mental health applying the methods of Komaja meditation, the Eco-press Center and others.

There are other recognizable mottos of the Green Action apart from the main one, such as:

Where the eternal Skopje shines….

Who knows why they CLEAN?

I CLEAN, and you?! I want- CLEAN!

Within the action, the association organizes a winning game for the most creative suggestions for new mottos. The citizens are invited to give their suggestions on tel./fax: 02/116 – 151. The prices remain secret until the end of the action.
