The International Day of Tourism

The International Day of Tourism comes right after the end of summer. Although this branch is active throughout the whole year, it has its boom in summer.

In the last few years, the need for a sustainable and responsible tourism has been emphasized, that is a tourism that will not damage or ruin the natural and cultural monuments and the surrounding localities that attract many tourists. This day might be an occasion to reflect upon the unused possibilities for the development of tourism in our country, especially the so-called cultural and ecological tourism for which Macedonia has excellent conditions.
