Training for Computer Work

The civic committee for development from Probistip has conducted training for computer work (Windows, Word, Excel) for young people in the rural settlements in the Probishtip municipality. The training was conducted in ten villages. As Mr. Ljupco Gorgievski from the Civic Committee for Development said, by the end of October the training was completed in the villages of Dobrevo, Plesenci, Gorni Stubol, Dolni Stubol and Kundino and in November, the training was realized in the village of Pisica. "The training was performed by Civic Committee for Development members", said Mr. Gorgievski. "They have good knowledge in the field of informatics, that is, the subjects foreseen with the project. The training is realized in the regional schools and local community facilities", he said.

In the month of December, the Civic Committee for Development will cover other larger villages in the municipality.

The past experience shows a great interest for the training. "The only difficulty in the realization of the project is that the training is realized with one computer only", says Gorgievski.

The financial support for the project, $4,235, was provided by the Open Society Institute Macedonia Foundation.
