Skomrahi

The last Skomrahi activities - an annual meeting of drama and film student from the Balkans will take place on 1 and 2 April. On 1 April a symposium will take place called "The Balkans today - traditional film experience", as well as two theatre plays and on 2 April there is a workshop called "From text to play" and the last theatre play. Skomrahi is supported by the Austrian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, FOSIM and the Macedonian Ministry for Culture and Science.

2 April

Promotion at "Tocka"

On 2 April, starting at 8 pm, the promotion of the CD "Dependent List MK" will take place at the cultural centre "Tocka". The promotion is part of the activities for marking the 10th anniversary of publishing the magazine "Margin".   

6 April

NGO Centre in Delcevo

A Centre for NGO support is being opened in Delcevo, which is part of the project for strengthening the civic organizations in the socially and economic undeveloped regions. The Centre is financed by the European Agency for Reconstruction - EAR and the foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia.

8 April

World Roma Day

The World Roma Day, announced by the UN is a day of activities for protection of Roma rights throughout the world. We mark this day traditionally in our country with different activities.

16 April

NGO Centre in Kratovo

A Centre for NGO support will also be opened in Kratovo, in order to strengthen the civic organizations and the civic sector in the Republic of Macedonia in general. This centre, too, is part of project financed by EAR and FOSIM.

Monuments Day

The International Monuments Day, 18 April, is an occasion for reminding ourselves of our cultural, historic and architectonic heritage, expressed through the monuments of various kinds. This day is celebrated in many countries by paying visits to monuments, lectures and other activities.

Planet Earth Day

This day is dedicated to our mutual home. All around the world, actions, protests and demonstrations take place, expressing our desire to live in a healthy environment.

NGO Centres in Negotino and Gevgelija

NGO support centres will be opened this month in Negotino and Gevgelija. They will form part of the network of the eight centres, opened by EAR and FOSIM, together with the four that already exist and are supported by FOSIM.

For animal protection

Animal lovers who strive for their rights, announced this day a day for laboratory animals protection, and nowadays, the label "not tested on animals" part of many marketing commercials.

Trees' Day

The Trees' Day is in fact dedicated to our health and the clean air. On this day, many civic organizations organize actions for emphasizing the need of more trees and their protection in the cities and in the wild areas.
