“A step forward towards equal opportunities for the handicapped”
On 14 November this year in Skopje, the first publication containing the recommendations for adjusting the Macedonian legislation to the EU legislation was published. It was prepared by three organizations working in the field of handicap: The Association of Students and Young People with Disabilities, Polio Plus and The Association of Invalids “Shpresa”.
The publication offers a short review of the world legislation in the field of human rights protection and the handicap as well as the efforts and the visions of the movement against the handicap, thoroughly pointing to the motto – Nothing for us without us! The publication is supported by the German Association for Technical Support (GTZ) and the European Issues Secretariat at the Macedonian Government.
