Children Rights Center Collection "Little Big Man"
Children rights and juvenile delinquency
The Association for Protection of Children Right and the Children Rights Center promoted the collection of works called "Children rights and youth delinquency" on 10 February this year at the humanitarian organizations' building "Dare Dzambaz". This is the Association's second such edition. -Last year in March at the same location, we promoted the Children Rights Center "The Little Big Man". Here we are, after a year at another promotion, at the promotion of the collection of works called "Children rights and the youth delinquency". This collection is in fact a result of some works collected at the last year's seminar that took place at the end of June in Ohrid and the goal of which was to introduce participants to the children rights. The participants at the seminar were experts and eminent guest from that field, such as Ph.D. Vladimir Ortakoski, president of the association. Works in the collection are divided into four groups, that is areas or chapters - children rights; youth justice; children in risk; and Children Rights Center practice. The Little Big Man association engages professors and experts in the field, social workers, etc. The Association works on the implementation of the Children Rights Convention signed by 189 UN member states, among which is Macedonia since 1993. The Republic of Macedonia is obliged to prepare a report on children rights in our country every three years.

Hand in handSeveral weeks ago, I was one of the participants from Macedonia at the "NGO Days" in Zagreb. Even before I had seen the manifestation, I was wondering what will it be like, will it be different from our NGO Fair "Forum of the Civil Society in Macedonia" that took place at the end of October last year, organized by the MCIC, OSIMF, ISC and CRS. We were together at this manifestation, and, from what we had seen, we could be proud to be better organizers.

Independently, more coordinately and more aim-orientedDuring the society transformation into pluralistic democracy, at the beginning of the ‘90s, one of the heralds of the new system was the appearance of a large number of non-governmental organizations dealing with women issues. Together with the ones, which had been formed in any shape by the former system, this large number of new women non-governmental organizations created a good basis for eventually solving the issues of the women’s social status.
