Quiet audition in the Park of Tolerance
38.900 denars collected for the Special Olympics
“Equal opportunities for all the children to play sport” was the motto under which in the Park of Tolerance, for the third time, the president Branko Crvenkovski and representatives of the diplomatic corps in the country together celebrated the Spring Day. Traditionally, the diplomats who stay in our country planted trees, each from the country they come from. The ambassadors of Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Egypt, India, China, Morocco, Moldavia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Switzerland and Sweden were included in the action. They were joined by representatives of a number of international organizations, such as OSCE, UNHCR, UNDP, UNICEF etc. There was also a quiet auction, where the participants who had previously donated money at the entrance, bought various objects and children’s pictures. 38.900 denars were collected from the sold objects and donated funds in the boxes. The funds are aimed at the Special Olympics Fund. Many civil society organizations and 350 children took part at the manifestation. The organizer of the manifestation was the cabinet of the president Branko Crvenkovski and the Center for Institutional Development.
