Scholarships for Roma students
 

The Open Society Institute (IOO – Budapest) and the Roma Education Fund (REF) have announced the Program for providing scholarships to Roma students. Eligible candidates are all registered full-time Roma at an acknowledged university in their home country or country of residence in the academic year 2007/2008, as well as students at post-graduate, master or doctor studies.  Eligible candidates are also high-school graduates who are planning to enroll at some of the acknowledged universities in the Republic of Macedonia in the academic year 2007/2008.

The candidates have to be Macedonian citizens. The dead-line for applying for the scholarships is 15 June 2007. All information regarding the competition can be obtained at the Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia.
