“Learn Your Rights”…

The UNICEF office in our country has published the leaflet “Learn Your Rights”. The leaflet offers explanation of the Children Rights Convention, which was ratified in the Republic of Macedonia in 1993 as well as the 24 most important children rights from the Convention. “Children have the right to know their rights”- says article 42. 

…And “The Media and the Children Rights”

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the UN Children Rights Convention ratification, the “Press Vise” NGO for ethics in the media from Great Britain published the brochure “The Media and the Children Rights”, authorized by UNICEF. The UNICEF office in our country has also published this brochure in Macedonian. Its aim is to encourage the accountability when covering events involving children and influence of the adults’ behavior and decisions on their lives. The brochure is a tool that should encourage the media professionals to reflect upon protecting children rights and help them in their role in the mass media.
