Initiative for Establishment of Legal Framework on Voluntarism The SEE Youth Network (SEEYN) has launched a new project titled “Albert Einstein”, which aims at promoting the establishment of legal framework in countries of South Eastern Europe on voluntarism and to establish a volunteer visa regime. The ultimate goal of the project is to strengthen the mobility of youth through increase in volunteer campaigns, in order to secure peace and stability in the region. During ten months of duration of the project activities such as survey and production of a documentary on voluntarism and its advantages, grants for small promotion campaigns and conference on youth voluntarism are to be implemented. During the campaign state and local Governments, NGOs, media and other institutions that encounter voluntarism and voluntary activities in their work will be targeted. The project will be implemented by the following local agencies: OKC-Youth Communication Centre, the Youth Information Agency of BiH, Volunteer Centre Zagreb, the Young Researchers of Serbia, ADP Zid (Montenegro), Albanian Youth Council, Youth Forum OKO (Macedonia), Pro-Democracy Association Club Constanza (Romania), Balkan Youth Club (Bulgaria). UNV-UNDP and the Balkan Human Rights Network will also participate in the project and will work on the voluntarism survey of needs and opportunities.
