How to protect the old urban nucleuses 

On 19 December 2003, the Centre for Contemporary Arts from Skopje, assuming the role of coordinator of the Old Skopje Bazaar Forum activities, and the initiative of the Sub-committee of the Historic Villages and Towns of the Macedonian National Committee of IKOMOS, organized a public tribune.

At the tribune that took place in Skopje, the participants discussed two main issues: protection of the old urban and rural architecture and the protection of the Old Bazaar in Skopje. Facilitators at the tribune were PhD Marula Nikolovka from the Republic Bureau for Protection of the Cultural Monuments and PhD Kokan Grcev, president of the Sub-committee for Historic Towns and Villages of MNK IKONOMOS.
