15 Agricultural Manuals

On 19th June the Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation promoted 15 manuals purposed for the agricultural associations and their members, but also for the wider public. The objective of issuing these manuals is with simple advice for the individual farmers to help them to discover early the diseases of the agricultural crops, in the ways of quality production, in the family accounting and other problems which farmers face during their work. The manuals have been printed with financial support from the MEDF and the topics have been ordered by the agricultural associations themselves. The authors of the 15 manuals are experts from certain sphere and some of the manuals are by several authors.

These fifteen manuals have the following titles:
“Sheep’s-milk cheese production in domestic conditions and its tending”, “Grapes brandy production at individual grapes producers”, “Colored wines production in small wine cellars”, “Diseases and pests within agricultural crops”, “Bees’ health care”, “Bees’ products”, “Growing mushrooms”, “Ensilage and haymaking”, “The most important diseases in the intensive pig production”, “Keeping books of the individual agricultural economies”, “Associations – Your economic and political power”, “Sheep and goats’ diet”, “Sheep’s health and care”, “Placement and sale” and “Home accounting and sheep selection”.

The manuals are going to be distributed through the agricultural associations which suggested the topics: Sheep breeders’ association “Povardarie” Negotino; Viticulturists’ association “Vitis” Negotino; Eco food producers’ association “Eko-plod” Bogdanci; Bee keeper’s association “Nektar” Bitola; Bee keeper’s association “Pchela” Veles; Mushrooms growers’ association “Funghi” Karbinci village; Ox breeders’ union “Makedonsko mleko” Sveti Nikole; Pig breeders’ association Bitola-Prilep; Sheep and goats’ breeders’ association “Pelister” Bitola. The 15 manuals are in print-run of 500 copies.
