MCIC has presented the awards for civil society and democracy and sustainable development
It depends on usOn 9 June this year, for the fifth time, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation presented the Award for civil society and democracy and the Award for sustainable development “Gert Jan van Apeldoorn”. At the celebration in the Alexander Palace Hotel in Skopje, the number of laureates increased to eight, in comparison with the previous years. |  |
Under the slopes of Belasica Mountain
The heritage is aliveNow, I can reach the Smolare Waterfall with lady’s shoes, too. I remember that it wasn’t like that when I saw it for the first time. We needed god, strong, climbing boots because we were going down very steep paths and rocks covered with moss and slippery from the recent rain. My second “date” with this magnificent waterfall on Belasica leaded through stone stairs, built with the hands of the local inhabitants in order to make Smolare Waterfall more accessible to more people.

Campaign “We are all their children”An impressive campaign for helping the elderly people in Macedonia was organized in the month of May under the motto “We are all their children”. The donation was aimed for improving the conditions at the nursing homes in the country like: Mother Theresa, Sue Rider – the old building in Bitola, “Kiro Krstevski - Platnik” in Prilep and “Zafir Sajto” in Kumanovo |  |
