MCIC has presented the awards for civil society and democracy and sustainable development
It depends on us
On 9 June this year, for the fifth time, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation presented the Award for civil society and democracy and the Award for sustainable development “Gert Jan van Apeldoorn”. At the celebration in the Alexander Palace Hotel in Skopje, the number of laureates increased to eight, in comparison with the previous years.
Under the slopes of Belasica Mountain
The heritage is alive
Now, I can reach the Smolare Waterfall with lady’s shoes, too. I remember that it wasn’t like that when I saw it for the first time. We needed god, strong, climbing boots because we were going down very steep paths and rocks covered with moss and slippery from the recent rain. My second “date” with this magnificent waterfall on Belasica leaded through stone stairs, built with the hands of the local inhabitants in order to make Smolare Waterfall more accessible to more people.

In 1981 two professors of the Harvard University, USA, studied ways of negotiating in order to achieve better results in solving misunderstandings and reaching agreements.
Help for the elderly
