An exhibition at the Youth Cultural Centre in Bitola

Unique kaleidoscopes as gifts to the children

Unique kaleidoscopes made by the volunteers’ creative hands, were exhibited at the Youth CULTURAL Centre in Bitola from 13 to 20 March. After the exhibition has ended, the kaleidoscopes are to be given away to the children from the marginalized groups in order to “make their day different”.

This event was organized within the YCC Bitola cultural agenda, in the direction of supporting young artists and alternative arts, thus marking the tenth anniversary of the organization’s existence. The kaleidoscopes’ creators, the young volunteers, said to the visitors of the exhibition: “It is an indescribable feeling when you look through the kaleidoscopes yourselves, when you get to feel their magic, that stained glass that comes to life in front of your eyes. Someone might get an inspiration and join our activities”

Kaleidoscope is a Greek work which means “a nice view”. It is a toy that contains brightly colored round objects and a set of mirrors that reflect the image from the objects to repeated, symmetric stained glass.
