Water habitats World Day 

The second day of the second month in the year is dedicated to the water habitats, which are homes of a large number of plants and animal species. However, the water habitats and their biodiversity are diminishing from the face of the Earth increasingly. These sensitive ecosystems are becoming dry because of natural factors and the human factor, or are becoming polluted, the only reason being the human factor. The water habitats day is a real occasion to remind ourselves of their important role in the functioning of the global ecosystem that we are part of, but we do not govern it.
