Discrimination

Female Roma discriminated according to sex and ethnicity

According to the presented data from the report “Little by little we, the women, learn our rights”, presented in Skopje in December by the Macedonian branch of Amnesty International, Roma people in Macedonia suffer from double discrimination, due to their sex and ethnicity. The report researches the obstacles that Roma women and girls face at the approach of basic human rights, right to education, work and health protection and it also contains references for increasing respect and protection of human rights of Roma women and girls in Macedonia.
