Delcevo
The NGO Support Centre got new premises
On 25 July in Delcevo, the Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia opened the new premises of the NGO Support Centre from Delcevo, donated by the municipality. The offices are located in the old municipality building in the centre of the town. At the very opening, there was a presentation of the existing civil society scene in the region of Delcevo. At the same time, the present could see the opening of the exhibition of the NGO Support Centre and the local NGOs’ realized activities.
The beneficiaries of the Delcevo NGO Support Centre, which is one of the one of the eight such centres opened in socially and economically undeveloped regions in Macedonia are NGO members and individuals, as well as communities that need more transparent and more quality NGO service delivery, and municipalities who need to strengthen their cooperation with a vital actor in the civil society. In it, besides the existing infrastructure (a place for meetings, communication and training equipment, computers, etc.), there is a library with newspapers, magazines, books and professional literature. The interested ones can get the necessary information on training courses, other NGO activities, as well as on the open possibilities for financing: donors, competitions, applications, etc.
