Women and conflicts

On 16 and 17 October at the Cultural Centre "Tocka" in Skopje, the Foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia organized the seminar called "Women experience in the conflict and the post-conflict period". The experience of about 50 women from all former Yugoslav republics and Albania was presented at the seminar. They all participated at the caravan that visited the conflict areas in this region two years ago. Their experience was also shown in the documentary film made by the organization "Transeuropeen", the partner organization of FIOOM in the implementation of this project.

Besides sharing this type of experience, a training course was carried out at the seminar on the basic methods of the oral history.
