Save energy

The world day for saving energy should be an occasion for reflecting on saving the energy resources and that the increased consumption damages the natural resources. On this day, use less electrical home suppliences and start your own action for saving energy.

 

8 may: Red Cross Day

Since the day when Henry Dinan raised the foundations of the world most famous humanitarian organization, the Red Cross is unselfishly helping the people who suffer from the natural catastrophes – the wars, the poverty and other troubles. The Red Cross Day should remind us to be more human. 

 

9 May: European Day

The day, when 55 years ago the foundations of the European Union were raised, is celebrated in all European countries, as well as in our country. From 1 to 9 May, a number of events are going to take place, so that Macedonia gives its contribution towards this celebration.

 

…And remembering the victims of fascism 

The world day of the victims of fascism is celebrated this year in the sprit of the 60th anniversary of the great liberation war and the victory over fascism. The triumph of the allies in the Second World War meant victory over fascism at the same time. 

 

15 May: Let us keep the climate
 

The international day for keeping the climate should remind us that the floods, hurricanes, spreading of deserts, ozone holes and overheating of the Planet Earth can only be stopped by us, the people, with a global action against pollution and degradation of the nature.
