Seminars for High School Students

The Nansen Dialogue Centre from Skopje in cooperation with the High Schools' Union in Macedonia, through its programme "Peace Building", that is, the sub-programme for young high school leaders, is implementing the process of education for the coordinators of all high schools.

For that purpose, in May and June this year, two seminars were held for the coordinators of all high schools in Skopje on "Conflict management and conflict analysis". The goal was to educate young people in the field of non-violent conflict solution. The seminars were a preparatory phase for the Union to assume legitimacy for cooperation with the Nansen Dialogue Centre in the further activities within this sub-programme. .

Within the same programme, a three-month course on "Leadership development course" will start in October 2003, aimed for high school students. It will cover various subjects such as: communication skills, conflict management, organizational managing, the media role in Macedonia, as well as the European integration of Macedonia.
