REC and Tocka
Celebrating anniversaries
The Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) with its headquarters at Sentendre, Hungary, is celebrating 15 years of its existence and successful work. Throughout the years, REC has become one of the synonyms of the “green” movement in Europe, and with its 16 offices operating in different countries in the region, it has grown into one of the greatest supporters and partners of civil society associations active in this field, as well as of the governments and the business-sector. For more information on REC activities, visit the web-site www.rec.org.
The Cultural Centre “Tocka” in Skopje is celebrating three important years of its work and two-year existence of the “Confluent Margins” project of the association Kontrapunkt. Tocka, in whose premises is located the bookshop Ili-Ili is a unique alternative place in the city which has considerably promoted the cultural life of both Skopje and Macedonia.
