RAZM “Luludi” – Skopje project
“Monitoring the health care activities”
RAZM “Luludi” – Skopje has been realizing the project “Monitoring the health care activities” since March 2007. It is in its final phase, and the report on the project that is to be finished soon, containing the problems that Roma people most often face when trying to realize their right for health insurance, will be published on DVD. The report is also going to contain information from the monitored cases where violations of the right for health protection and health insurance were noted.
The project has been prepared on the basis of the results received from another “Luludi” project – “Different approach – better health for everyone” – realized in the period between 2005 and 2007, whose goal was to increase the number of Roma people from the municipality of Suto Orizari who use health protection.
By realizing the project activities, the organization creates its own database, where they register the Romas from the municipality who have not yet realized their right for health insurance. The project has been financially supported by OSI New York and FIOOM.
