People: Igor Tasevski

By returning the trust, the problems will be solved more quickly

Professional experience: Graduated in literature, editor in the newspaper "Denica" and correspondent of TV Tera.

Engagement in the civic sector: Since 1998 he has been actively engaged at the Centre for Civic Initiative - Prilep. At the moment he is working as an assistant to the programme coordinator at the CCI, member of the Executive Board and human rights trainer.

Hobbies and Interests: Reading books and watching films.

Toughest decision: I do not divide the decisions into tough and easy, but on time and right and belated and wrong. I have a few belated and wrong that made some changes in my life, however I learnt something from them, that is, what one should not do. In general, I never regret any decision I made since I believe that in that time and under those conditions, I have done the right thing.

Ambitions: My ambitions are connected with successful and fruitful work and one beautiful trip around the world.

In his free time he reads: The book is a good friend of mine. I enjoy reading fiction. I return to the good books, as well as the beautiful things in life many times. At the moment, I ma re-reading books like "A hundred years of solitude" by Marques and "Sidarta" by Hesse because I enjoy them and every new reading means discovering new things in the old book.

Where does he go in his free time: To the theatre, on walks with my friends. Two times a week I meet my friends for a social game.

At weekends: The weekends are reserved for my family. I dedicate myself to my wife and my daughter and I try o make up for my absence during the week. We usually go together for walks outside the town.

Which national/local problem does he find especially important and why: It is hard to choose a priority problem as far as the Macedonian problems are concerned, since all of them are urgent. On my list I place the financial problems, problems with the laws, the borders (national as well as local), the church, return of the lost trust in the institutions of the system, as well as among ourselves, the unemployment and many other. However, If I have to choose one, that will be the lost trust. When the people return their trust in the system institutions, and of course the mutual trust, then the problems will be solved more easily.

Which global problem does he find especially important and why: The terrorism, the trafficking with people, drugs and weapons, the corruption, the great flow of uncontrolled profit by criminal actions, money laundering, the financial crime or the crime in the high technology, are all potential threats to the peace and stability in the world. In any case, the terrorism is presently an especially important problem because it takes innocent victims every day. Supporting some kind of idea, which means killing innocent people, is the largest problem of today's world. The world must ask itself why all this is happening to us and pay enough attention for stopping it, and not concentrate on discovering and constructing new and more modern weapons.

What would he change in Macedonia and the world: "I understand the world as a field for cultural contest among nations", is what Goce Delcev said, which, if accepted by the rest of the world, we would day after day enjoy new books, theatre shows...We would no more hear news about wars, victims and tragedies. That is my world.

Advice/message: Never do what you do not want to be done on you. Do not prepare for special events and days because every day and every moment are special and deserve your full attention. Smile at people - let them remember your cheerful spirit and your smile.

I could never: Understand envious and malicious people. Those try to build their happiness on other people's misery.
