Successful use of IPARD funds

The publications “Successful use of IPARD funds”, published by the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation and the Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation incorporates the experiences of the former candidate countries for EU membership with the legal and the factual predecessor of IPA(RD), the SAPARD programme. The readers can draw a lesson from the presented experiences, to determine the necessary administrative capacities and structures that will manage the financial assistance, to inform themselves on the ways of managing the IPARD funds and the terms under which Macedonia will be able to use them. This publication helps the public to find out what are the conditions and the criteria for approving projects and using the IPARD funds, and finally, to become familiar with the methodology and the procedure for preparing and assessing the investment programmes. The publication can be found in Macedonia and in Albanian at www.mcms.org.mk

Web-site of the Macedonian Civic Platform

On 16 April 2007, the web-site www.gpm.net.mk  was officially launched. Its goal is to provide information and resources on the activities of the Macedonian Civic Platform members. At the moment, the page is only available in Macedonian, but it is soon to be available in English as well. It is regularly updated with information from the GPM Secretariat. The preparation of the web-site is part of GPM annual plan and part of project called Support to the national forum/platform of the civil society, financed by the European Union and managed by the European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR).
