7 April: International Health Day
The International Health Day this year will be dedicated to the global diseases, drug abuse and the need to provide normal, healthy life for the world population and overcome the poverty and the environmental problems. The International Health Day is initiated by the UN organizations.
8 April: International Roma Day
International Roma Day, 8 April is dedicated to the problems and the rights of this population throughout the world. In the first year of the Roma Decade, the celebration of this day calls for poverty reduction between the Roma and the realization of their right for education, health protection and other rights.
18 April: International Monuments Day
The monuments are witnesses of our past, and this day, dedicated to the monuments and historic places throughout the world, reminds of the need to protect and cherish them. So, visit the monument that is next to you, clean its environment, lay a flower and recall the past.
22 April: Planet Earth Day
In many countries in the world, this day is a day of civic actions and manifestations dedicated to the protection of our global home. On this day, the governments, the industry and the whole society should remind themselves we all have one mutual home, and that it depends on all of us.
23 April: Day of the books and the copyright
To protect the culture of reading and to protect the copyrights – is the general motto of this day, which is celebrated every year. Read a book and respect the unquestioned copyright not only on this day.
