Power sharing
The publication is a research report with application of scientific methodology, where the most important indicators are collected on the policies and instruments for protection of minorities’ rights. The report is part of the CARDS program and prepared by the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) and the Peace and Democracy Center Ian Collins (PDC) and it offers answers to a few questions: How to achieve a complete and efficient participation of minorities in the multi-ethnic municipalities in Macedonia? What consultation measures and what structures are to be used to link persons that belong to national minorities with the decisions that concern them? Etc. The publication is financially supported by MCIC.
Study on the conditions in rural communities
Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) has been active in the development of local communities and capacities both in the civil sector and the local self-government for many years. The study on the conditions in the rural focus communities is one of the first such activities carried out within the program Local Development of Communities and it is an initial research for the program requirements and local communities themselves. The publication is available in Macedonian and Albanian in printed version and in English in electronic form.
