Our open competitions and tenders
Who should help the victims of domestic violence?
Is it necessary to make a coil out of each tender invited in Macedonia, difficult for someone to uncoil it? Two months after the open competition was announced, the Commission for Cooperation with Citizens’ Associations decided that according to the fulfilled conditions, the most appropriate and with most points is the Women’s Organization of the City of Skopje, which in the next six months would receive 51.500 denars every month for realization of the project.

Happy holiday
Yes, that’s right. 28th September is International Information Access Day, known by the slogan: “I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW!” This year it has been celebrated for the fourth time and it has been our first real celebration: the Republic of Macedonia has had a Law on Free Access to Information of Public Character (LFAIPC) since this year.

Can the civil sector in Macedonia die out?
If we look back for several years, there was a question raised among the civil society organizations – What is going to happen when the foreign donations “dry out”, what is the main source of income going to be? Are we going to find alternative solutions to replace them? Will that mean that a number of civil society organizations are going to stop working? What is going to happen to the civil sector in Macedonia? These are only some of the many important questions that have been often asked.
