 Food For EveryoneThe UN Food and Agriculture Organization- FAO has been present in Macedonia since September last year. FAO has realized a very good cooperation with the Macedonian authorities and it is involved in the Republic of Macedonia Agriculture Program, in the reconstruction of the rural life influenced by the last years’ military conflict and the several years’ dry period. With that purpose, FAO implements several projects in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Watersupply, the NGOs and the private sector. The distribution of winter corn seeds and fertilizers has been finalized for the regions of Gostivar, Tetovo, Skopje, Kumanovo and Sveti Nikole and at the moment they are distributing cattle food in the regions of crisis.
