CONFERENCE Women of the 21-centuryMacedonia, in cooperation with the NGO sector assumed the role of a leader and organizer of the Second conference “Women in the 21st century”: The women role in the Southeastern European democratic processes development. The conference was supposed to take place in May 2001, however, due to the war and political crisis in Macedonia the activities have been put off. CROSS-BORDER ACTIVISTS ACTING Approaching the Desire for CivilizationUnder the motto “Approaching the desire for civilization”, from 26 May to 9 June this year, a caravan of former Yugoslav republics and Albanian women active in the social living is going to be organized and coordinated by the French organization “Transeuropeennes”.
