IN OHRID Ohrid Izida – First Multiethnic NGOFroThe First multiethnic women NGO – “Ohrid Izida” has been recently established in Ohrid. The goal of this organization is to improve the position of all women in our society, regardless of their ethnicity. Members in the “Ohrid Izida” are Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Vlach, Serbian, Egyptian and Roma women and the organization is open for women of all other ethnicities. WOMEN IN THE 21st CENTURY Improving the Women PositionFrom 12 to 14 April this year in Ohrid, the Second International Conference “Women in the 21st century: “The women role in developing the democracy in the South-Eastern Europe” took place. It was held under the patronage of the First Lady in Macedonia, Mrs. Vilma Trajkovska in cooperation with the NGO sector in the country.
