Ohrid Izida – First Multiethnic NGO

FroThe First multiethnic women NGO – “Ohrid Izida” has been recently established in Ohrid. The goal of this organization is to improve the position of all women in our society, regardless of their ethnicity. Members in the “Ohrid Izida” are Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Vlach, Serbian, Egyptian and Roma women and the organization is open for women of all other ethnicities.

“Ohrid Izida will work on raising the public awareness for women emancipation, establishing a higher level of equality between men and women, protection from violence, improving the education and health protection of women and their economic independence.
