Macedonian UN Model Practical Learning about the Democracy and the ParliamentFrom 12 to 14 December 2003, the Macedonian UN Model - MUNM held its sixth conference, where about 600 high school students simulated the work of 4 UN Committees - the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Development Programme and the World Health Organization. In a very practical way, the young people learned how these bodies function, about the decision making process and about how to practice democracy, diplomacy, negotiation, leadership, mediation, lobbying, teamwork.
