Festival at the Theatre of Nationalities

Children are breaking down the language barriers

The First National Drama Festival called: Children are breaking down the language barriers, took place on 13 and 14 December at the Theatre of Nationalities in Skopje, with support from the British Council in Macedonia.

About 130 children from 30 primary schools, high schools and language schools from the country took part at the festival and performed a collage of short plays in English. The First National Drama Festival of this kind is part of the project for implementation of the drama and the creative arts in the educational process, in order to encourage the creativity within the youngest population, through which we can approach and learn the English language, which is one of the most important, if not he most important world languages.
