Serbia and Montenegro – member of the Council of Europe

Since 3rd April this year, Serbia and Montenegro has become a member of the Council of Europe. This decision was made at the Council of Europe Ministries’ Committee on 23rd March this year. Serbia and Montenegro has obliged to join Council of Europe’s Statute and to sign the European Convention for Human Rights.
