At the last NGO Fair in Delcevo 40 NGOs presented  The Fourth Regional NGO Fair took place on 25 and 26 April in Delcevo, where 40 organizations from the region of Delcevo, Vinica, Kocani, Makedonska Kamenica and Pehcevo presented themselves. Organizations from Bulgaria were guests at the Fair. Over 20 000 citizens attended the exhibition part, the forums and the socio-cultural events. The Fair was opened by Mr. Vladimir Milcin, Executive Director of the Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia, and the participants and the present guests were greeted by the EU Ambassador in Macedonia, His Excellence Erwan Fuere who said that their presence sends an important message to the authorities – that the NGOs are a partner, which should be equally involved when it comes to the development of the society. Other people who spoke at the opening ceremony were Mrs. Orhideja Kaljosevska, representative from the Secretariat for European Issues and the Mayor of Delcevo, Mr. Mirko Ivanov. The president’s cabinet was represented by Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, the president’s adviser on foreign policy. The Fair was organized by the Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia with logistic support from the NGO support center from Delcevo, and on behalf of the Macedonian Civic Platform. It is part of the project “Support to the National Forum / Civil Society Platform”, financed by the EU and managed by the European Agency for Reconstruction.   M.I.
