Paintings For Butler, Trajkovski And The German Embassy
Let us support the return of life in Mariovo through the art - it is the basic idea of the organizers of the Italian paintings auction, whose fund is dedicated to the support of the project "Detsko selo-Mariovo“.
The HO Samarjanin (Samaritan), Civic Paths and Staravina municipality, supported by "Podravka", "Nestle" and the Epinal Hotels, organized a presentation of the project "Detsko selo - Mariovo" (Children's Village - Mariovo) and an auction of paintings from by the Italian artist's Laura Simone art colonies, which are always donated for humanitarian purposes.
Regarding the fact that Mariovo has so far attracted the attention of a number of diplomats and politicians, the organizers have chosen three paintings that will be additionally handed as a gift for those who have shown a special interest for the development of Mariovo through projects aimed for this regions. Thus, Samarjanin gave one painting to the American Ambassador in Macedonia, Mr. Lawrence Butler, Civic Paths gave one painting to the President of our Country, Mr. Boris Trajkovski and Municipality Staravina to the German Embassy in Macedonia, while the Bosnian Ambassador in Macedonia was personally handed a painting during the auction. His reverence, the Australian - New Zealand archbishop and Prespa - Pelagonija administrator Mr. Petar - president of HO Samarjanin, explained that the Children Village will be located near Gradeska Reka, known also as Stone River, next to the St. Dimitrija church, which dates from the 15th century, where the school used to be located in the past. The Children Village will become a new, warm home for 40 orphans. The prefabricated houses have already been provided, and on the initiative Gradesnica citizens, the children village will bear the name of the Macedonian defender Blagojche Siljanov.
